Meeting of the Joint Turkmen-German Working Group is to take place in Ashgabat on May 11

During a meeting, aspects of building up trade and economic cooperation and cultural and humanitarian relations will be discussed. The parties will consider the possibilities of participation of German companies in projects which are implemented in Turkmenistan in financial, energy, transport, environmental, agricultural, medical and tourist sectors. Today, during a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov signed the Decree, having approved a membership of the Joint Turkmen-German Working Group for the Turkmen part. The Federal Republic of Germany is traditionally one of the main business partners of Turkmenistan, and a forthcoming meeting will give a new impetus to building up the productive dialogue, and will strengthen the Turkmen-German relations.
