On May 16 it is planned to hold the International Scientific and Practical Conference ""The Constitution is the legal basis for progress"". This was reported at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers on May 5. Within the framework of the forum, four sectional sessions will be held: in the International University for the Humanities and Development, the Turkmen State University named after Makhtumkuli, the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and in the building of the Constitution Monument. The experience of political and state building accumulated by Turkmenistan is of great interest for the world community and deserves a wide popularity. Speaking about the need to clarify the adopted laws and other legislative acts, widely popularize the positive experience of state building accumulated by sovereign Turkmenistan, which is of great interest to the world community, the head of state emphasized that the Constitution is an unshakable legal platform for our dynamically developing country. It determines that the highest value of society and the state is a person. The adoption of the new version of the Basic Law in September 2016 was the significant development, President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov emphasized, entrusting the organization of the conference timed to the forthcoming 25th anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution of Turkmenistan at a high organizational level.
