The capital of China held the 21st Football Tournament among the personnel of foreign countries’ embassies and accredited international organizations where Turkmen Embassy team became the leader. In the final match, our compatriots confidently won the representative of the Embassy of the Russian Federation with 5:1 score. The competitions, organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Main Department of Physical Training and Sport of the People’ Republic of China, were held in Peking Sports University complex. 16 teams of the diplomatic missions representing football powers of the world like Germany, Italy, England, Japan, Russia, USA, the Republic of korea, Sweden and others competed for the medals. The victory of Turkmen citizens, which they devoted to V Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games in Ashgabat in September, is the fourth one in such competitions. This success indicates good training of our team what is logically followed from comprehensive sport development in modern Turkmen society including in diplomatic circles of our counry. Such competitions, annually held in China, promote popularization of the achievements of Turkmenistan in sports, consolidation of friendship and understanding between the people.
