President of the International Draughts Federation V.O.Langin in the letter sent to President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov congratulated on successful performance of the national team of Turkmenistan in the qualifying draughts -64 Asian championships to the world championship of 2017 held in Tashkent. As marked in the message, Turkmen sportsmen-checkers players regularly win medals in championships and for high sports results in the above-named championship have deserved the right of participation in the world championship among teenage boys and girls which will be held in August-September, 2017 in Bulgaria and the world championship among men and women which will take place in October, 2017 in St.-Petersburg (Russia) where representatives from nearby 50 countries will take part. It is especially underlined that the draughts school of Turkmenistan enjoys a deserved authority and well-known successful performances, in the country there are good players, trainers-enthusiasts and huge desire to develop this intellectual sport.
