In his letter to President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov, President of the Asian Kickboxing Confederation Nasser Nassiri has congratulated Turkmen athletes on their success at the Asian Kickboxing Championship (that took place at the Ashgabat Olympic Complex), and on our national team’s victory in the team event. The head of the Confederation also expressed his gratitude for the high-level organization of the Championship, and for the warm hospitality and consideration. The beautiful Turkmen capital has left a deep and abiding impression, the letter says. All guests highly praised the level of preparations for the 5th Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games to be held this autumn. The Ashgabat Olympic Complex, which is unrivalled among the facilities of the same kind, enables to simultaneously hold highly-organized international championship competitions in different sports. The successful organization of three large competitions at the Complex in April – the Asian Kickboxing Championship, the Asian Weightlifting Championship, and the Short Course Swimming Championship is a remarkable testament to this. Mr. N. Nassiri expressed confidence that the 5th Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games would be the most spectacular and impressive in the history of Asian Games.
