XIV International Universal Exhibition “White city – Ashgabat” opened in the Sergi Koşgi Expo Centre in the Turkmen capital. The forum brought together over 130 companies and enterprises, including 40 foreign ones. The forum organisers – Ashgabat Khyakimlik and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan provide a wide range of areas, including construction and architecture, power industry, processing and light industries, design and other spheres that one way or another fall under the concept of urban development. The stands of various ministries and departments of Turkmenistan: industrial sector, transport sphere, communal services, trade and foreign-economic relations, education and many other areas aroused keen interest among foreign guests. Turkmen businessmen demonstrated the diverse spectrum of their activities. Among them were such companies as “Aga Gurlusyk”, “Myradym”, “Durli yaz”, “Eziz Doganlar”, “Ojak”, “Ojar Aziya” and others. Leading foreign companies, including “Bouygues Turkmen”, “Vinci” (France), “Knauf” (Germany), “TUF” (China), “Kommash” (Russia), “Altcom” (Ukraine) took part in the representative forum showcasing the achievements and prospects for development of the white-marble capital. A variety of proposals from Indian companies that took part in the forum within the framework of the partnership with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan impressed the visitors. Our Turkish partners, “NATA”, “Gap Insaat”, “Ronesans”, “Belda”, “Efor”, “Ekol Muhendishlik” and other companies that are well known on the construction market of our country, presented the models of various facilities – administrative buildings, sports objects, etc. that will be raised in the Turkmen capital in the near future.
