Priority tasks of the State Service for Combating Economic Crimes were discussed

A meeting was held in Ashgabat with the participation of the leaders and executive officials of the military and law enforcement agencies, the main topic of which was the discussion of the most important tasks faced by the State Service for Combating Economic Crimes created in accordance with the Decree issued by President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov. Among other main functions of the newly formed Service were defined the identification, prevention, disclosure and investigation of economic crimes involving the damage to the state in accordance with the legislation of Turkmenistan. At the same time, this structure is entrusted with the tasks such as elimination of reasons that lead to the commission of offenses in the sphere of economy and finances, as well as analyzing the conditions that generate, provoke and support corruption schemes, and develop and implement measures aimed at eliminating and preventing them. During a meeting, the issues of improving the professional skills and responsibility of the managers and employees, and training high-class specialists were also discussed.
