In Ashgabat, the universal exhibition “International Economic Cooperation-2017” organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry was completed. Over 80 national and foreign companies, state and individual enterprises submitted proposals, developments and innovations, integrated solutions and services. Many of them are a close community of producers and developers who take the most active part in the implementation of large-scale projects on industrialization of various sectors of the economy. The international exhibition showcases that the leading foreign companies are actively interested in the Turkmen market and who are trying to offer the domestic producers the latest equipment and modern technologies in all spheres of the national economic complex. A lot of attention of foreign specialists was attracted by the stands of a number of branch departments, organizations and institutions of Turkmenistan. In the list of domestic products, special emphasis was placed on export-oriented cotton yarn, knitted and denim fabrics, various kinds of ready-made garments, etc. These products, which proved themselves well in the Turkmen market, were highly appreciated by foreign partners during the exhibition. Great potential for cooperation is also laid in the implementation of the largest project on creation of the National Tourism Zone ""Avaza"" on the Caspian coast. According to the guests, Turkmenistan has ample opportunities to become a major tourist center. There were many visitors at the stands, representing the world of sports and corresponding industry. This section of the exhibition unites all national sports federations, manufacturers and developers of products of this field. And the main theme of the sports exposition was the preparation for the 5th Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games, which will be held in September this year in Ashgabat. The focus of attention of Turkmen specialists was the information technologies have been demonstrated by foreign colleagues, including well-known companies. The international review has become an excellent business platform for intensive exchange of experience and ideas, presentations of promising developments, projects and proposals, at the same time the exhibition provided our foreign guests an opportunity to get acquainted with the achievements of the Turkmen national economic complex.
