President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov addressed the participants of the Cultural Week started in Turkmen capital. “White-marble Ashgabat actively prepares now for organization of high level of V Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games. I am firmly confident that cultural and art workers will make deserving input in successful Asian Games creating an atmosphere of celebration and elevated mood, - the message says. It is necessary to make grandiose celebration declaring primordial features of the people – hospitality, humanism, inspiration, friendliness, which popularize the richest cultural and spiritual heritage of the nation, out of large sport event. The Cultural Week in Ashgabat is to play an important role in bringing new bright colours to centuries-old traditions and customs of Turkmen people, enrichment of national literature and art heritage, - the message mentions. In this context, the Week held under active participation of arts intelligentsia is aimed at introduction of the achievements of Turkmen musical, song, opera, theatrical, cinema, visual, decorative and applied arts to the world community. I am confident that poets and authors, journalists, bakhshys, musicians, artists and stage masters will have the heart and enthusiasm in their work to inspire our citizens for new work successes and glorify the achievements of sovereign Motherland in their compositions. I am also confident that cultural events organized during the Week will support upbringing of young generation in the spirit of primordial values of our nation, which are the patriotism, nobility, courage and hardworking, - the message of the Head of the State highlights”.
