President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov has received First Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Askar Mamin. Taking advantage of the opportunity, the guest passed greetings on to the head of Turkmenistan from President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev, who also extended best birthday wishes to the head of Turkmenistan. The head of state also sent his greetings to the Kazakh counterpart, having stressed that Kazakhstan was and remains an important, tried and trusted partner of Turkmenistan and relations between our countries are being built on a long-term and mutually beneficial basis. The First Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan expressed his country’s commitment to greater productive cooperation. During the meeting, the Turkmen leader and his guest also exchanged opinions on prospects of Turkmen-Kazakh cooperation in a number of key areas, including the trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian fields.
