Training Center of Turkmengas State Concern opened in Ashgabat’s Choganly area. The complex of white marble-clad buildings occupies the area of 3 hectares. Every condition has been created here for expeditious and efficient leverage of innovative equipment and technology that is being actively introduced at the country’s fields. At the Center, 120 specialists can improve their skills at once. Turkmenneftegazstroy State Concern is the general contractor of the construction, while design and subcontract works have been conducted by the specialists of Dowamat Economic Society. Innovative educational equipment has been supplied by Korea’s LG International Corp. The three-storey educational building has seven classrooms and four perfectly equipped specialized laboratories. The electrotechnical laboratory has special personal stands for every student. They simulate the work of the most complex electrical equipment of drilling rigs, wells, pipelines, compressor stations. The stands can simulate any situation, thus encouraging finding the best solution during training sessions to ensure the efficient functioning of modern equipment. The audiovisual laboratory located nearby enables thorough study of operating modes of remote control systems; systems for monitoring of technological processes; and wireless communication channels. The stands allow debugging and ensure uninterrupted functioning of the systems. The classroom equipped with personal stands imitating the welding of different details is particularly impressive. 3D visualization and special helmets by Seabery Soluciones create a virtual reality and a complete illusion of the work process. The Training Center has stands that help learn the work of the modern drilling equipment. The theory is better understood in computer class. There are also specialized classrooms of Schlumberger Service Company. Design will be studied in the classrooms equipped by Eni Turkmenistan Limited Company. The educational building also has a conference hall; a dining room; a recreational room and everything needed for an efficient training process. The magnificent atrium with a glass roof where the cozy recreational room and a winter garden are located is an amazing decoration for the facility. The five-storey dormitory is also perfectly equipped. Cozy rooms are on equal footing with comfortable hotel suites; they are equipped with climate control systems and comfortable modern furniture.
