President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held video conference working session with participation of hyakims of the regions and the capital. The subjects of the agenda included the solution of specific objectives of social and economic development of the cities and regions as well as situation in agricultural branch. First, Hyakim of Ashgabat Sh. Durdiliyev reported on fulfilment of the assignments for urban planning of the capital, making of new green zones and realization of infrastructural projects. It was also informed on the course of construction of large facilities and preparation to V Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games. The President of Turkmenistan gave clear instructions to the Hyakim on comprehensive organization of works in Ashgabat including cultural, social, engineering and ecological aspects. Having focused the attention on large importance paid to Ashgabat 2017 Games in the aspect of improvement of international status of Turkmen capital, the Head of the State formulated the requirements in every directions of preparation works. After, hyakims of the velayats reported on the situation in the regions on key indicators of the development, preparation works for the beginning of cotton harvest and sowing of winter crops. Summing up the reports, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov highlighted that all necessary conditions are made in the country for efficient development of agricultural complex, increase of agricultural production volumes, effective work of farmers who are provided with high quality seeding material, mineral fertilizers, equipment, water, pest control chemicals, cargo transport, etc. by the Government. However, despite targeted stimulation and material support, the turnover of the branch remains inadequately low. Why? Addressing Hyakim of Ahal velayat T Atahalliyev, the Head of the State demanded to find out what mechanisms have to be fixed at the sites to make proprietary and responsible attitude to the business be the main profitable factor and principle of work on land. The Head of the State noted that there is not much time left until cotton harvest season and gave order to develop detailed plan for this campaign, which would stipulated wellthought coordination of its entire links. Turkmen Leader also requested to provide timely and comprehensive preparation to winter crop sowing and held under control the construction of the facilities. Having expressed the dissatisfaction with organization of agriculture in Balkan Velayat, the Head of the State required hyakim S. Satlykov to pay more attention to implementation of new management methods, improvement of land fertility and productivity of agricultural crops as well as requested to provide timely payments to the farmers. Hyakim of Dashoguz velayat received instructions on high quality organization of all planned works and strict adherence to agro technical standards. Having expressed critical remarks regarding organizational and managerial errors, Turkmen Leader requested Hyakim to analyse the situation on the sits and undertake more accountability in arrangement of works on proper level. The attention of Hyakim of Lebap velayat Ch. Charliyev was focused on improvement of the efficiency of agricultural works, rational use of lands and water resources. The importance of unstoppable provision of arable lands with water and fertilizers, strict adherence to agro technical norms during crops growing was highlighted Speaking to hyakim of Mary velayat B. Annagurbanov, the Head of the State noted that seasonal agricultural works have to be carried out in strict correspondence with scientific recommendations and established schedule. The heads of the regions were assigned to provide organized start of the coming field works as well as to reveal and eliminate the root causes slowing down the reforms in agricultural production of the main strategic crops. During the session, the President of Turkmenistan also requested to hold cultural public events in the regions on occasion of remarkable dates and events, other issues of the state life, on which appropriate decisions were taken, were discussed during the session.
