Turkmenistan increased energy exports by 2.8 percent in 2017

Turkmenistan has increased electricity exports by 2.8 percent for 7 months of 2017. Deputy Prime Minister D. Amangeldiev, who coordinates the energy complex, the construction industry and the municipal economy, informed about it the government at the meeting. From January to July 2017, 14 billion 169 million 949 thousand kilowatt-hours of electricity were produced. At the same time, electricity exports amounted to 2 billion 231 million 102 thousand kilowatt hours. Also, at the meeting of the government, the Deputy Prime Minister said that the production plan of the Ministry of Construction and Architecture was fulfilled by 104.9 percent and by the Ministry of Public Utilities by 110.9 percent. President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov drew Amangeldiev's attention to the priority tasks that should be resolved before the start of the 5th Asian Games. In particular, the head of the state ordered to speed up the repair work, which was now being carried out on many roads in Ashgabat, including by private companies.
