Growth of Turkmenistan's gross domestic product for 7 months of 2017 was 6.4 percent. Deputy Prime Minister for Economy and Finance B.Hojamammedov informed about it at the meeting of the country's government. According to him, growth in industry was 3.4 percent, construction - 3.9 percent, transport and communications sector - 10.9 percent, trade - 9.2 percent, agriculture - 4.6 percent, services - 10 percent. For January-July 2017, retail trade turnover increased by 17.4 percent, prices for consumer goods, tariffs for the provision of services to the population are kept within set limits and average monthly wages increased by 9 percent.
