Masters of culture and arts of Turkic people performed a concert in the Ruhyet Palace in Mary, that was declared the cultural capital of the Turkic world in 2015. Popular singers, musicians and composers from Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and two regions of the Russian Federation – Bashkiria and Tatarstan participated in the concert. Lead vocalists of M. Akhundov Azerbaijan State Academic Opera and Ballet Theater Afag Abasov and Abdylasa Maldybaev Kyrgyz National Academic Opera and Ballet Theater Kerimberdy Turapov performed on the main stage in Mary to the accompaniment of the symphony orchestra of Turkmenistan. Soloists of Istanbul State Opera and Ballet Theater Burcin Savigne, Sazgen Sazy Kazakhstan Folklore and Ethnographic Group – Alina Mataeva and Gabdully Tukay State Philharmonic of the Republic of Tatarstan of the Russian Federation – Rigina Valieva participated in the concert. Masterful playing on national instruments ""Kuray"" and ""Doira"" performed by People's Artist of the Republic of Bashkortostan, Honored Artist of the Russian Federation Ramil Gayzullin and art director of the ""Abbos"" Group from Uzbekistan Rovshandzhon Yusupov adorned the concert. That day, the enchanting oriental music and heartfelt sweet-sounding melodies sounded everywhere in Mary.
