Turkmenistan to Purchase 250 KAMAZ Vehicles for Country’s Economic Needs

The Ministry of Motor Transport of Turkmenistan plans to purchase 250 KAMAZ-6520 cargo vehicles with a load bearing capacity of 20 tons. At the Government session, Vice-Premier B.Annameredov reported on preparation of the relevant draft resolution. Following the report, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has noted that development of multifunctional transport and communication infrastructure is a key factor in realizing Turkmenistan’s economic, investment, transit and resource potential. The head of state has highlighted the mutually beneficial nature of cooperation with the Republic of Tatarstan that is developing successfully within the interstate dialog with the Russian Federation. The Turkmen leader has noted that today different branches of the country’s economy use the vehicles of this brand that has proved itself reliable, and signed the relevant Resolution.
