President of Russian Federation Vladimir Putin has arrived on official visit to Turkmen capital in the afternoon. The Head of Russian Federation was met by the officials at Ashgabat International Airport decorated by the State Flags of two friendly countries. The Guard of Honour was lined up along the carpet from the plane to honour high-rank guest. From the airport, the motorcade of the President of Russia went to Oguzkhan Presidential Palace Complex where President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov have warmly and cordially welcomed his Russian colleague Vladimir Putin. Having shaking hands, the Leaders of both countries went to the hall where official reception ceremony of high-rank guest tool place. After report given by the commander of the Guards of Honour company, national anthem songs of Russian Federation and Turkmenistan were played. The Heads of two states marched along the line of the Guards of Honours. President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov introduced the members of official delegation of Turkmenistan to his Russian colleague. High ranking guest was also greeted by the heads of diplomatic corps accredited in our country. In his turn, President Vladimir Putin introduced the members of the Government delegation of Russian Federation to the Head of Turkmenistan. After traditional photographing ceremony on the background of the State Flags of two countries, Turkmen Leader invited his high-rank guest to Altyn Hall where Turkmen – Russian high-level talks in narrow format have started. Later the negotiations will be continued in extended format with participation of official delegations of both countries and the ceremony of signing documents will take place. The Leaders of two countries will also make a statement to press.
