The Ministry of Finance and Economy has been established in Turkmenistan. President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov signed a relevant decree at the enlarged Cabinet session, which focused on the running year’s nine-month state-of-the-economy results. The new institution has combined the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Economy and Development and has been appointed their designated successor. According to the decree, the step was made to reorganize the financial-economic and banking sectors of Turkmenistan and improve their activities.
