President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov presided over the working video-selector meeting, which was attended by the Cabinet Deputy Chairman supervising agro-industrial complex, velayats’ and the capital’s khyakims to discuss the directions for the country’s development, seasonal agricultural work, the National Rural Program implementation, preparation for the celebration of the 26th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s independence. Over the intercom, velayats’ khyakims reported on the situation in the regions, the rates of winter wheat sowing and cotton harvesting campaign. As noted, the measures on fulfillment of the President’s instructions to accelerate the performance of seasonal agricultural work are carried out. The reports contained information about the facilities, constructed in velayats, particularly in the framework of the National Rural Program, and also events on the occasion of the country’s Independence Day. Noting the need for coordinated work of the relevant structures, the effective use of technical park of the branch, which is not universally activated in full force, the head of state gave assignments to harvest cotton without losses and within the established deadlines, taking due account of favorable weather conditions. The leader of nation emphasized that issues of timely payments for the yield, delivered and effective machinery use should be under permanent control. The National Rural Program implementation has an impact on improving the population’s life quality in the regions, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov said, addressing khyakims the appropriate commissions. Speaking about the significance of events on the occasion of the independence anniversary, the head of state instructed khyakims to conduct them at a high organizational level. The country’s President also pointed the importance of timely putting into operation of erected objects, giving instructions to ensure permanent quality control of the work. Then, the floor was given to Cabinet Deputy Chairman E.Orazgeldiev, supervising the agricultural complex. The Vice-Premier reported on the progress of seasonal campaigns, on the implementation of presidential assignments regarding acceleration in the rates of wheat sowing and the cotton harvesting without loss. President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov focused on the need for well-managed, according to the agricultural standards and terms, organized completion of the most important agricultural campaigns, striving for competent use of agricultural machinery. The leader of nation highlighted the necessity of permanent control over fulfilment of the National Rural Program’s tasks. Then, Ashgabat city khyakim Sh.Durdylyev reported on the beautification of the capital, creation of green belts and maintenance of appropriate level of cleanliness. It was reported on the preparation of an activity program to mark the 26th independence anniversary of Turkmenistan. The head of state focused on the importance of an organizational management on beautification, including socio-cultural, engineering-technical and environmental areas. The leader of nation noted that the events, particularly objects’ openings, timed to coincide with the Independence Day, should reflect the spiritual world of the people and the country’s achievements. It was given a set of instructions on running the festive events, including the commissioning ceremonies of new buildings.
