A scientific and practical conference devoted to the 24th anniversary of the introduction of the national currency, the manat, will be held in Turkmenistan on November 1 this year. At the forum reports on the development of the country's banking system over the years of independence, key aspects of monetary policy, practical measures implemented to ensure the stability of the national monetary unit will be presented. The introduction of the national currency on 1 November 1993 was an important step towards the formation of Turkmenistan's independence, one of the key factors in establishing it as a sovereign and full member of the international community. Over the years, manat has played a huge role in the successful achievement of the planned advances of socio-economic development.
