President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov received Yuri Shafrannik, the Board Chairman of the Union of Oil and Gas Industrialists of Russian Federation. b/// b.. Greeting Turkmen leader, the guest congratulated the Head of the State on the 26th anniversary of the Independence and wished strong health and new successes in his large-scale activity. At the same time, invariable interest of Russian business in consolidation of business relations with dynamically developing Turkmenistan that has huge economic potential has been confirmed. Having expressed the gratitude for warm wishes, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov highlighted that development of traditionally friendly relations with Russian Federation is one of key aspects of foreign policy strategy of Turkmenistan. Our country is always open for constructive and fruitful cooperation with Russian partners, which meet mutual interest of the countries, the Head of the State said. During the conversation, Yuri Shafrannik informed on the intent of oil and gas industrialists of Russia to expand their presence in perspective Turkmen market taking an active part in new joint projects. Particularly, it is related to exploration, development and processing of hydrocarbon materials and other mineral resources. Having supported the willingness of Russian companies to intensify business contacts, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov highlighted that Turkmenistan relies on implementation of innovative technologies, advanced achievements of scientific and technical progress in modernization of oil and gas industry and welcomed Russian partners to offer specific proposals for cooperation in this sphere. At the end of the meeting, Turkmen leader and his guest expressed mutual confidence in successful continuation of the cooperation that is built on long-term and beneficial basis.
