International conference “Tourism - the ambassador of peace and a basis of relations” was opened in Mary and collected experts of the travel and rest industry from about 20 countries of different continents. These are the USA, Japan, China, Spain, France, Germany, Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia, Romania, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Turkey, Pakistan, Iran, Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, etc. At solemn opening ceremony in ""Mary"" hotel conference hall, an importance and urgency of this meeting of the colleagues, called to promote enrichment and deepening of interaction of Turkmenistan and foreign countries, experience exchange and the newest developments in world tourism industry was underlined. The main objective of the present international conference - to strengthen and expand partner relations, to promote successful introduction of innovative approaches and developments in domestic and world practice, affirmation of Turkmenistan as a new attractive centre on international tourism map. Foreign participants of conference have mentioned a wide spectrum of issues in their reports: beginning from interaction within the framework of World tourist organization up to detailed segmentation of a customer demand for travel in Turkmenistan, organization of joint projects and programs, as well as cooperation in the field of professional education. Great interest of the forum foreign delegates was attracted by extensive messages of representatives of the National commission of Turkmenistan on affairs of UNESCO, Institute of archeology and ethnography of Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan, experts of museum sphere. Exchange of opinions has allowed to present various variants of approaches to development of this sector, and also to show successful experiment in given field and to consider the most indicative examples of partnership in this direction, including national practice. Today participants of a forum have visited Historical museum of local lore of Mary velayat, Mary velayat library, have become spectators of picturesque presentation performed by leading soloists and folk-ethnographic ensembles, have taken a walk in sightseeings of the Turkic world-2015 capital city. Tomorrow the conference will continue its work.
