On January 5, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov conducted a working meeting in the format of videoconferencing. Among those attending the meeting were some Cabinet Deputies Chairman, khyakims of velayats and Ashgabat city. After opening the working meeting, the nation’s leader gave the floor to Akhal velayat khyakim M.Nurmammedov, who reported on the state of affairs in the region, in particular, on the situation at sites of the objects erected in the velayat, and the steps taken to ensure well-timed and high-quality completion of the construction projects. Focusing on the state of the region’s sown areas, the President of Turkmenistan commissioned the khyakim to ensure well-coordinated work of the velayat’s structures, engaged in the preparation of farming machinery and fields for the upcoming spring sowing season. The nation’s leader also demanded to take necessary measures aimed at increasing the livestock population and enhancing productivity of livestock farms in the velayat, having given a number of the issue-related assignments to the khyakim. Next speaker, Balkan velayat khyakim B.Hojamammedov informed about the situation at sites of the objects under construction in the region within the frames of the National Rural Development Program successful realization, as well as about the field operations, ongoing in the region’s farmlands. The head of regional administration also reported on the measures taken to work out a special program aimed at ensuring a high organization level of the Elders’ Council session to be held in Balkan velayat this year. Interested in the state of affairs at sites of the objects erected in the velayat, President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov has emphasized the necessity of keeping unremitting control over the construction projects, in particular, the social and cultural purpose buildings and industrial infrastructure facilities, having given the khyakim a number of the issue-associated executive instructions. The head of state has highlighted the need for the timely and qualitative implementation of the farmland treatment measures to prepare the fields for the forthcoming sowing campaign in strict compliance with the established standards. To this end, said the President of Turkmenistan, it is necessary to make provision well in advance for the agri-machinery to be used in the campaign. Reporting on the implementation progress of the agricultural campaigns ongoing in the fields of the northern region, Dashoguz velayat khyakim E.Orazgeldiev informed about the fulfilment of the earlier presidential assignments on successful realization of the tasks specified in the National Rural Development Program, including construction of different-purpose objects - one of the comprehensive measures aimed at improving the population’s well-being. The head of state gave concrete commissions to the khyakim on implementing the seasonal field works, which should be carried out in full compliance with the agro-technical standards, as well as on adequate preparing the agri-machinery for the spring season. Drawing attention of the khyakim to the situation in the livestock sector of the region, the nation’s leader assigned the head of regional governance a number of instructions on developing the livestock-breeding farms, increasing their productivity, as well as further improving the sector’s processing industry. In his turn, Lebap velayat khyakim M. Joraev (the head of one of the country’s large agricultural and industrial regions) concentrated his video report on the work accomplished in the region, the state of affairs in the agro-industrial sector, whose dynamic development is an important state objective; on the development of livestock farms, the steps taken to secure the livestock efficient wintering and sufficient fodder supply, as well as on fulfilment of the instructions given earlier by the head of state on accelerated development of the region’s industrial infrastructure, including construction of new objects. After the report, the President of Turkmenistan demanded to ensure strict control over the implementation progress of the significant objects under construction in the region. Having stressed the necessity of accelerating the preparations for the upcoming cotton and other crops sowing campaign (which is of particular importance to the agricultural sector) in compliance with the agrotechnical norms, the President of Turkmenistan commissioned the khyakim to take all necessary measures aimed at ensuring efficient work of the farmers, and to re-inspect operational preparedness of the farming machinery for the planting campaign. The state of affairs in the region, the implementation progress of the program, worked out to ensure adequate conditions for the livestock efficient wintering and sufficient fodder supply, the measures undertaken to accelerate the paces of construction works at sites of the objects erected in the velayat, preparation of the farmlands and agri-machinery for the spring season were in the center of the report made by Mary velayat khyakim B.Annagurbanov. Having stressed the importance of taking all the necessary measures in the farmlands and on livestock farms of the velayat, the President of Turkmenistan has assigned to ensure constant control over the issues of conducting the spring sowing campaign at high organizational and qualitative level in compliance with the established agrotechnical requirements. Implementation of the planned measures at high level is the main condition for ensuring abundance of agricultural and livestock products, the head of state stressed. The ongoing work on the capital’s further development, renewal of its architectural look, improvement of living conditions of its residents, as well as fulfilment of the earlier presidential assignments were in the focus of the report made by Ashgabat city’s khyakim R. Nurmammedov. In the frames of his report, the khyakim submitted for consideration by the nation’s leader Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov the projects and location maps of a number of parking lots and other relevant facilities planned for construction. Having expressed several specific remarks on the presented projects, the President of Turkmenistan made appropriate corrections and pointed out the need of taking a responsible approach to successful execution of the planned work on the Turkmen capital’s dynamic development. Then, the nation’s leader Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov invited Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Manager of the Affairs Management Department of the President’s and Cabinet’s Administration Sh.Durdylyev and Vice-Premier B.Artykov for direct video-communication, who reported on the state of affairs in the spheres they are responsible for, the ongoing measures aimed at the capital’s further improvement, as well as on the construction progress of different-purpose buildings erected in Ashgabat. Speaking of creation of all favourable conditions for productive labor and recreation in the capital’s newly-established etraps, the President of Turkmenistan demanded to pay special attention to ensuring perfect harmony of park areas, road facilities, lighting systems and related infrastructure with the architectural look of the city. Highlighting that along with efficient use of the best practice and innovative technologies for the development of the country’s capital and regions, special consideration should be given to the construction of ecologically significant facilities aimed at protection of the environment, the leader of nation has commissioned the meeting participants to consider the work ongoing in this direction as a top-priority issue.
