Among the important vectors of cooperation, the interlocutors designated the trade and economic sphere, transport and communications, urban development, agriculture, and other industries. Not the last significant, the interlocutors noted, is extension of ties in the humanitarian sphere, in particular, in science, culture, education, sports and tourism - the development of which is one of the priorities of state policy pursued by both leaders. Looking forward to the future productive partnership backed up by a number of the already-successfully-implemented joint projects, the heads of two states expressed confidence that the practice of regular contacts at the highest and the intergovernmental level would directly foster the Turkmen-Russian dialogue. Touching upon the interest-based international policy issues, the parties stated that the positions of Turkmenistan and Russia are close in their striving for rendering all-round assistance in the positive development of global processes, in particular, in establishing a broad international dialogue on key issues of the world agenda and strengthening the fundamentals of lasting peace, stability and global security. At the end of the conversation, President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov and President Vladimir Putin expressed confidence in the prospects offostering the mutually beneficial cooperation, addressing the peoples of the two brotherly countries wishes of happiness, prosperity and global welfare.
