On August 24, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov conducted a regular working meeting in the videoconferencing format with participation of some Deputies Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, khyakims of velayats and Ashgabat city, as well as the heads of a number of other structures. The videoconferencing was focused on the priority tasks of socio-economic development of the country including those which are connected with realization of the National Redevelopment Program, on the preparation measures for worthy celebration of significant dates, and other important issues of state life. Opening the video-meeting, the head of state invited khyakim of Akhal velayat A.Yazmyradov for direct video communication who reported on the state of affairs in the region, the implementation progress of the wheat sowing campaign, as well as preparations for the organized start-up of cotton harvesting campaign. Reporting on the state of affairs ay the construction objects erected in the velayat, the khyakim informed that on the occasion of the new academic year, new generally education and sport schools are planned to be commissioned in the region. Further, the vide-report of khyakim of Balkan velayat D.Durdyev was concentrated on the general state of affairs in the region, on the progress of field works and situation in the animal husbandry sector in particular. The report also included information on the preparation measures for holding the upcoming Elders’ Council of Turkmenistan regular meeting in Turkmenabshi city of Avaza etrap at a better and higher level in terms of organization and content. The khyakim also informed on the measures taken to solve the issues connected with the upcoming new academic year, as well as on the state of affairs at the newly constructed objects in the velayat- 4 secondary schools and 5 nursery schools. Preparations for the cotton harvesting campaign, acceleration of paces of the wheat sowing campaign, measures taken to accelerate construction of different objects in the region, as well as fulfilment of instructions given earlier by the head of state – were the issues the video-report of khyakim of Lebap velayat M.Jorayev was concentrated on. In particular, special accent was made on the forthcoming opening ceremony of six secondary education schools and three nursery schools, as well as on the upcoming meeting of the Elders’ Council of Turkmenistan. Among other issues, the khyakim informed on preparations for the international events on the occasion of announcing Mary city as the running year’s cultural capital of Turkic world and for the upcoming meeting of the Elders’ Council of Turkmenistan. Pending the videoconferencing, the leader of nation simultaneously invited for direct video-communication Chairperson of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan A.Nurberdiyeva. The head of state has concentrated attention on the necessity of streamlining the administrative-territorial division of some etraps, making thereto reference to Mary etrap of Mary velayat. In this regard, the head of state has charged the appropriate executives to develop a special program and the program-related action plan. Underling that Ashgabat should in every respect be a model city, the President of Turkmenistan has commissioned him to keep issues of accomplishment an observation of cleanness and sanitary standards in the capital under control. The President of Turkmenistan gave the city’s governor a number of instructions on keeping under strict control the construction objects planned to be commissioned by Independence Day, as well as on holding the ceremonies timed to the new academic year in the spirit of the present time. Further Deputy Chairperson of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan M.Yazmuhammedova was invited for direct video-conferencing. The Vice-Premier reported on developing the cultural program of measures for celebrating the upcoming national holidays and significant dates. In this connection, the information was voiced on preparations for the opening ceremony of the Magtymguly Phyragy Museum and a park in Magtymguly etrap of Balkan velayat. Summing up the report, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov commissioned her to ensure high organizational and artistic level of festive events and ceremonies, active participation in them of workers of culture and art. Then Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers S.Toilyev and the Interior Minister of Turkmenistan I.Mulikov were invited for direct video communication. Reporting on the state of affairs in the spheres answerable to him, Vice-Premier reported on the measures to be conducted on the occasion of Knowledge and Student Youth Day. The country’s Interior Minister I.Mulikov reported on the preparation measures for holding in September of the current year the road safety month under the title “Traffic safety – safety of our life“. He also reported that constructed in the southern part of the capital, the Children’s Car-Driving Playground intended for learning traffic safety rules would be launched on September 1. Addressing the Vice-Premier and Interior Minister, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov gave executive instructions to them in association with the structures concerned to develop the September Traffic-Favored Measures Plan. The head of state has also commissioned them together with khyakims to construct autodromes and racetracks for conduction of auto races in velayats and envisage at the within-said objects the conditions for training of young people and representatives of older generation in traffic safety rules and vehicle control system. Displeased with the state of affairs, the head of state has charged the Minister with taking necessary measures to improve the situation.
