On October 25, telephone conversation took place between Mr Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov, the President of Turkmenistan, and Mr Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the President of the Republic of Turkey. The Head of the friendly country took the opportunity to express to the Turkmen Leader his cordial felicitations on the upcoming great holiday, the 25th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s Independence, and conveyed to the people of Turkmenistan his wishes for happiness, well-being and new impressive successes on the chosen path of constructiveness. President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov thanked the Head of Turkey for his congratulations and kind words and stressed the strategic character of Turkmen–Turkish relations that had gained strong momentum in the recent years. Heads of Turkmenistan and Turkey noted with satisfaction the high level of the interstate dialog and discussed the current state and future of bilateral cooperation in key areas in the context of implementing previously reached agreements, priorities of social and economic development of the two countries and future plans. In concluding the telephone conversation, Leaders of the two countries expressed their confidence that the constructive Turkmen–Turkish dialog built in the best traditions of friendship and based on the mutual good will of the parties would continue to strengthen, and wished health and success to each other, as well as welfare and prosperity to the fraternal peoples of Turkmenistan and Turkey.
