Taking the opportunity, the Acting President of the Republic of Uzbekistan congratulated the nation’s Leader and the whole Turkmen nation on 25th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s Independence, wishing new accomplishments on the way toward large-scale transformations preconditioning the country’s steady progress and its over-growing international authority. Thanking for the congratulations and kind wishes, President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov noted that Turkmenistan attaches significant importance to strengthening the traditional relations with fraternal Uzbekistan to be considered as a sincere friend and a long-time reliable partner. Pending the conversation, the Head of the State and the Acting President of the Republic of Uzbekistan discussed the priority issues of the Turkmen-Uzbek cooperation, confirming consistent intention of the parties hereafter to actively develop fruitful relationships throughout their range. During the talk, the nation’s Leader Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov invited Acting President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Turkmenistan for a visit. This invitation was accepted with gratitude. The dates of the visit will be agreed through diplomatic channels.
