On November 15, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov received the heads of foreign companies – the Board of Directors Chairman of the Russian company “BTK Holding” Taimuraz Bolloev and the Governing Board Chairman of Turkish company “Rönеsans Holding” Erman Ilicak. Expressing appreciation to the Turkmen President for finding the time for the meeting and for the opportunity to discuss the focal issues related to strengthening and advancing the mutuality-based partnership, the guests welcomed great achievements of large-scale reform-oriented policy pursued by the head of state, which had a catalytic impact on the Turkmenistan’s socio-economic upward development and its global name recognition. Greeting the famous companies’ heads, President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov has emphasized that Russia and Turkey are among the strategic partners of Turkmenistan. The interaction with them has a progressive, effective and long-term character. During the meeting it was noted that Turkmenistan’s investment policy, was first of the first aimed at the diversification and industrialization of the economy, formation of the competitive industries, and production of a wide range of high-quality and export-oriented products. Taimuraz Bolloev, the head of “BTK Holding” – a large group of companies in the Russian Federation, has initiated the company’s proposals on establishing the interest-based cooperation with our country. Showing keen interest in strengthening their positions at the promising Turkmen market with a glance to its preferential business treatment conditions, the guest has confirmed the Holding’s readiness to take the most active part in the development-favored projects in the textile industry, in creation of joint ventures based on the best practices and latest technological developments. Availability was acknowledged of a lot of perspective trends for encouraging productive partnership advancement in that industrial sector. Welcoming the initiatives of the Russian company’s head, as well as the idea of establishing a representative office of “BTK Holding” in our country, President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov noted also the need to develop such a direction as logistics. In turn, the head of Turkish Holding Erman Ilicak noted that the accumulated successful experience of long-term cooperation in the construction sphere testified to a high interest of the company to further advance close cooperation with our country. The businessman has also informed about the fulfillment of the earlier presidential assignments on implementing the projects entrusted to “Rönеsans Holding”, particularly on the construction progress of the natural gasoline plant in the territory of Akhal velayat.
