For January – August, the Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Affairs increased the volume of total trade turnover by 5.4 percent and the volume of production by 2.5 percent for the eight months in relation with the same period of the last year.

According to macroeconomic indicators, the GDP grew by 6.2 percent including by 4.4 percent in industrial sector.

Vice-premier K. Durdymyradov has informed about the growth rates of industrial production at the session of the Government on September 7.
