At the session of the Government of Turkmenistan that took place on 6 April, it was communicated that preparations were underway for the construction of the potash plant in Lebap province and the Ashgabat–Turkmenabat highway.

The consumers unions system in Turkmenistan will be privatized. Vice Premier, G.Myradov, presented his report on the relevant works at the Government session. Proposals on the closure and transfer of ownership of the property of this organization to the State under the Law of Turkmenistan on Consumers Unions were submitted to the head of state.

At the meeting of the government, information was provided on the progress of the construction of a carbamide plant in the city of Garabogaz in the Balkan velayat. According to Vice premier K.Durdymyradov, technological equipment for ammonia and carbamide production has been installed on the facility, commissioning of the gas turbine generator of the plant, nitrogen and oxygen production workshops, and auxiliary steam installations has been completed.
