The second meeting of the highest representative body of Turkmenistan - Halk Maslahaty held in Ashgabat under the chairmanship of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov focuses on the important tasks for the further economic and social development of the country, including the issues related to strengthening the constitutional foundations of Turkmenistan and improving the democratic principles of public administration.

For the contribution to strengthening the independence of Turkmenistan, enhancing the national traditions and customs, strengthening the unity of the people, raising the young generation, and also on occasion of the 28th anniversary of independence, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed the Decree, authorizing:

In frames of the meeting of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov conferred the highest titles of the Hero of Turkmenistan and Altyn Aý medal to Permanent Representative of Turkmenistan to the United Nations Aksoltan Ataeva.
