Today, the final round of the television competition of young amateur performers «Ýañlan, Diýarym!» was held at «Aşgabat» song and music centre of the capital.

The annual creative review is traditionally held on the eve of Independence Day of the country as part of the competition for the award of the President of Turkmenistan «Türkmeniň Altyn asyry».

The competition, organised jointly by the Ministry of culture and the State committee for television, radio broadcasting and cinematography, promotes the realisation of the creative potential of young people, their involvement in the priceless spiritual treasury of the nation and the richest song and musical culture. In many ways, it was this television competition that played an important role in identifying new stars.

Numerous residents and guests of the Turkmen capital became the audience of the final round of «Ýañlan, Diýarym!». Everyone listened with great attention to the welcoming address of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov to the competition participants. As the head of state emphasised in his message: «Excess skill allows you to leave a mark in the world of art, including song and music. To achieve mastery, it is necessary first of all to study the manner and other features of the performance of famous masters, as well as to complete the «mentor – student» school. Beautiful songs and melodies that have penetrated into the very soul of the people make up the treasury of national culture. Her enrichment is a brother, young performers, and a sacred mission.

Summing up the results of the creative competitions held within the framework of the competition for the award of the President of Turkmenistan «Türkmeniň Altyn asyry» in the year «Independent, neutral Turkmenistan – the homeland of purposeful winged horses», marked by the 35^th anniversary of the Independence of the Fatherland, multiplies the festive mood of the people. Such competitions clearly demonstrate that our state creates wide opportunities for identifying and encouraging young people. talents involved in various fields of creativity and art. Among them is the TV contest «Ýañlan, Diýarym!» which inspires aspiring performers to new heights in the art of song and music.

This year, the most worthy and distinguished singers of creative groups from all over the country, students of higher and secondary vocational educational institutions, cultural workers and other industries who were selected based on the results of the preliminary etrap, city and velayat stages reached the final of the competition.

In accordance with the rules of the competition, two candidates from each region of the country and the cities of Arkadag and Ashgabat received the right to participate in the finals. As a result, in the final round of the TV contest «Ýañlan, Diýarym!» the 14 best participants met, who performed works based on poems by classical and modern poets, as well as folk songs.

According to the terms of the competition, the musical compositions of the participants were played to music. At the same time, not only vocal abilities were taken into account, but also skill, originality of performance, and artistry.

The members of the jury faced a difficult task – to choose the best of the best. It is noteworthy that famous singers and winners of previous contests were invited to the gala concerts, whose songs have won the love and recognition of a wide audience today thanks to colorful video clips. This was another vivid reflection of the best mentoring traditions in the Turkmen musical art.

The song «Garaşsyzlyk şanyna ýaňlan, ýañlan, Diýarym!», performed jointly by all the participants of the concert, became a kind of anthem of the competition. In modern vocal compositions, the contestants proudly praised their beloved Homeland, the glorious centuries-old history of the Turkmen people and the fateful achievements of the new historical epoch, the «heavenly» horses that became the living embodiment of this progress, and the beauty of their native nature. Some performers chose songs written by prominent Turkmen composers based on the words of classical poets.

The program of performances also includes popular works from previous years, which harmoniously combine pop rhythms and ancient folk melodies. It should be noted that the fundamental transformations being implemented in our country and the work aimed at the continuity of song and musical traditions enriching the spiritual and cultural treasury of the nation are reflected in the work of young performers, in their soulful songs and musical compositions. Each performance was distinguished by its musical style and originality of performance and rightfully earned the applause of the audience.

As already noted, the winners of previous years came to support the finalists of the current competition. For many of them, «Ýanlan, Diýarym!». He became a springboard into a busy creative life, opened the way to the big stage.

The songs performed by the participants of the current review sounded like a dedication to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, under whose leadership Turkmenistan confidently follows the path of peace and progress, a prosperous Homeland and a happy people, as well as to the glory of national art. The final chord of the concert was a song dedicated to the Motherland, which celebrates the 35^th anniversary of independence in the year «Independent neutral Turkmenistan – the homeland of purposeful winged horses».

At the end of the song festival, the most exciting part of the creative marathon consisted of summing up the results and announcing the winners. To loud applause from the audience, the names of the 7 winners, who became holders of special diplomas and the gold chain of the President of Turkmenistan, were announced. All participants of the final round received memorable gifts on behalf of the head of state.
