President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov received new Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to Turkmenistan Mamuka Murjikneli who presented his credentials to the Head of the State.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held video conference working session with the participation of some Deputy Chairmen of the Cabinet of Ministers, the Ministers of Sports and Youth Affairs, hyakims of the velayats and Ashgabat.

According to the Resolution of the President of Turkmenistan on participation of Turkmenistan national teams in XXXII Summer Olympic Games in Tokyo in 2020 from April 13, 2018 and for creation of optimum conditions for comprehensive training of national teams of the our country, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed the Resolution.

The President of Turkmenistan signed the Resolution for successful implementation of the objectives outlined by the Programme of social and economic development of the country in 2019 – 2025 as well as construction of new administrative centre of Ahal Velayat. The document assigns to start the construction of administrative centre of Ahal Velayat in Gyoktepe etrap. The first stage of construction to be completed in 2019 – 2021 and the second in 2020 – 2022.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed the Resolution on construction of new modern villages in Charjew, Sayat, Khalach and Kerky etraps of Lebap Velayat.

The seventh training course on ‘The Caspian Sea – Sustainable Development and Management’ has started in the Avaza National Tourist Zone. It is co-organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and the State Enterprise on the Caspian Sea Issues under the President of Turkmenistan in cooperation with the International Ocean Institute (IOI), a partner of the United Nations.

The key areas of cooperation between Turkmenistan and the European Union were discussed during the meetings with Head of EU Delegation to Turkmenistan, Mr.Christian Berger at the ministries and departments of Turkmenistan.

The Mejlis of Turkmenistan adopted the Resolution on Ratification of the Agreement between the Government of Turkmenistan and the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan on the Avoidance of Double Taxation with Respect to Taxes on Income and Capital.

The Mejlis of Turkmenistan adopted the Resolution on the Naming of Turkmen National Conservatory after Maya Kuliyeva and on the Naming of Turkmen State Medical University after Myrat Garriyev.
