The Mejlis of Turkmenistan adopted the Resolution on the Naming of Turkmen National Conservatory after Maya Kuliyeva and on the Naming of Turkmen State Medical University after Myrat Garriyev.

The fifth session of the Mejlis of the sixth convocation, where number of new laws and legal acts, which were developed according to integrated programme of modernization of legal and regulatory base of the country, has been adopted, took place. Heads of some ministries and departments as well as representatives of mass media were invited to take part in the session.

By the Resolution of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to United Arab Emirates (Abu Dhabi) Serdarmammet Garajayev was appointed as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the State of Kuwait.

The fifth meeting of authorized representatives of the Caspian littoral states has begun at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan to discuss a draft Protocol of Cooperation on the Safety of Maritime Navigation in the Caspian Sea.
