President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has convened a regular session of the Cabinet of Ministers to consider priority issues of state life and some draft documents.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held offsite extended session of the Cabinet of Ministers in the conference hall of International Airport. The Chairperson of the Mejlis, members of the Government, leaders of military and law enforcement agencies, ministries and departments, non-governmental organizations, mass media and directors of the universities took part in the session. The agenda of the session included the outcomes of the official visit of the Government delegation of our country to the Republic of Azerbaijan, organizational issues of Ashgabat 2017 Games and the events planned for August 17 on occasion of 30-day countdown to the beginning of V Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games.

In the framework of the official visit to Azerbaijan, the Turkmen leader visited one of modern Baku’s symbols – the Heydar Aliyev Center. The Center’s management warmly welcomed the distinguished guest at the main entrance.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held a meeting in the Milli Mejlis on the second day of the official visit to the Republic of Azerbaijan.

President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov, being in Baku on an official visit, received Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Artur Rasizade.

Azerbaijan is our main neighbour in the Caspian Sea, the President of Turkmenistan has said at the talks with President Ilham Aliyev today.

Presidents Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and Ilham Aliyev made statement to the representatives of mass media on the results of the negotiations.

The ceremony of signing bilateral documents took place upon the completion of the talks between the government delegations of Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan.

Talks between President Ilham Aliyev and President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, who arrived in Baku on a two-day official visit, began in Baku at the Zagulba residence of the head of Azerbaijan.
