I am pleased to note that thanks to mutual efforts, in recent years the cooperation between our two countries has successfully developed. I am confident that the friendly relations between Mongolia and Turkmenistan will continue to strengthen and expand internationally and regionally, - the message stated, addressed to President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov.

Since Turkmenistan gained independence, our countries have established friendly relations, – the message says.

At the meeting of the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) at the United Nations Headquarters in New York, Turkmenistan was elected to the Executive Board of the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) and the Commission on the Status of Women for 2018-2022.
