Last week, a briefing was held in the Turkmen Hall of the Palace of Nations in Geneva (Swiss Confederation) on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s permanent neutrality to be celebrated this year.

Last week, the International Conference “Turkmenistan’s neutrality - the guarantor of peace, good neighborliness and mutually beneficial cooperation”, devoted to the 6th anniversary of establishing the professional holiday – Diplomatic Workers’ Day of Turkmenistan was held in the conference hall of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

Last week, the Turkmen capital hosted the Exhibition of Export Goods of the Republic of Turkey, a traditional event, organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan with participation of the Turkish company “Meridyen Uluslararasi Fuarçilik”.

Last week, another batch of humanitarian aid was sent from the Turkmen capital to neighboring Afghanistan.

On New Year’s Day, the “Döwletliler köşgi” Palace hosted a festive event, at which the children, who live and study in the Palace, were solemnly presented with New Year gifts on behalf of President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov.

The Turkmen people welcomed the New Year 2015 as a united friendly family. A colorful and sparkling wave of boisterous and cheerful festivities swept across the country.
