A regular meeting of the Joint Intergovernmental Turkmen-Iranian Commission on consular, border and customs issues started its work in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Leaders and representatives of the appropriate ministries and law-enforcement agencies took part in its work. The meeting participants analyzed the status of implementation of the Commission previous meeting’s decisions, a significant part of which was executed. The sides distinguished the significance of border and customs infrastructure development in order to increase the sales volume between the two friendly countries, the need to exchange information on the issues of contraband control, counternarcotic actions, total loss and challenges control. Tomorrow, the Intergovernmental Turkmen-Iranian Commission will continue its work.
