President of Turkmenistan , Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov signed a Ukase “On pardoning the convicted persons in honor of Turkmenistan’s State Flag Day” having released the convicted persons from further serving of their primary and additional punishments in the form of living in the law-sanctioned place of residence. *** The President of Turkmenistan signed a Resolution on authorizing khyakims of Balkan, Dashoguz, Lebap and Mary velayats to make contracts with relevant local enterprises for designing and constructing (neighborhoods improvement inclusive) a 100-meter flagpole for the State Flag of Turkmenistan in each of the within-said velayats. The projects implementation terms are March 2015 – June 2015 (Lebap and Mary velayats); March 2015 – July 2015 (Dashoguz velayat); March 2015 –August 2015 (Balkan velayat). *** The President of Turkmenistan signed a Resolution having approved a revised version of “The National Program of the President of Turkmenistan on improving social conditions of the population of villages, settlements, etrap towns and etrap centers till 2020”. According to the document, khyakimliks of velayats, the Ministry of Economy and Development of Turkmenistan, Ministry of Construction and Architecture of Turkmenistan together with relevant ministries and sectoral departments were commissioned to ensure proper and high quality implementation of the within-said National Program within a prescribed period. The project implementation terms are February 2015 - September 2017. *** The President of Turkmenistan signed a Resolution, having prescribed in 2015: ministries and sectoral departments, khyakimlik of Ashgabat city to plant 1, 5 million young trees between the towns of Anau and Baharly, Akhal velayat; khyakimliks of velayats to plant 1, 5 million saplings of deciduous, coniferous, fruit trees and vines in the territories of velayats. Ministries, sectoral departments, khyakimliks of velayats and Ashgabat city have been prescribed to ensure drip irrigation of trees and vines.
