With the aim to widely popularize the principles of healthy life style, to prevent the negative effect of alcohol, to improve the health of citizens, to increase people’s longevity and implement efficient, complex measures in this area, the President of Turkmenistan signed the Resolution, authorizing to approve the National programme to prevent the negative effect of alcohol for 2018-2024 and the Action plan on its implementation. In accordance with the document, the Intersectoral coordination commission on the implementation of the National programme to prevent the negative effect of alcohol for 2018-2024 was approved. The ministries, sectoral departments, hyakimliks of velayats and Ashgabat shall ensure the fulfillment of the Action plan on the implementation of the National programme.
