The guest emphasized the interest of one of the largest Russian oil companies in enhancing cooperation with our country on a long-term, mutually beneficial basis. Addressing the warm greetings and best wishes to the President and the people of friendly Tatarstan, the Turkmen leader expressed satisfaction with the fruitful character of the bilateral partnership that dynamically develops in the framework of the constructive interstate dialogue with the Russian Federation. Due to the solid potential of the Turkmen-Tatar cooperation, aimed at achieving the specific results, these traditional ties are filling in with the new content with every passing year. During the meeting, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and Director General of PJSC “Tatneft” Nail Maganov exchanged views on the prospects of cooperation in the context of the priority areas of the energy strategy, pursued by Turkmenistan with the aim to ensure the complex modernization and diversification of the sectoral infrastructure of the fuel and energy complex, apply the advanced technologies, establish knowledge-based industries, manufacture high-quality products that is of high demand on the world markets, and encourage the investment activity. This provides vast opportunities for the exchange of best practices, including in the areas of hydrocarbon production, oil and gas processing and petrochemical industry, creates favorable conditions to take efficient efforts and new joint projects.
