The President of Turkmenistan signed the Resolution, according to which the authorized banks of Turkmenistan are allowed to allocate preferential loans to peasant associations, farms, agricultural joint-stock companies, agricultural research institutes, legal entities, tenants, private entrepreneurs-producers of agricultural products and non-state entities and persons for: for the purchase of agricultural equipment, machinery and tools, excavators and bulldozers, water-saving equipment, irrigation pipes at 1 percent per annum on an equal annual repayment based on their service life of 10 years; in order to finance the investment projects related to the development of livestock and poultry farming, processing and provision of services, as well as to acquire fixed assets and property at 5 percent per annum for a period of up to 10 years.
