The President of Turkmenistan signed the Resolution, having approved the Concept of Development of Digital economy in Turkmenistan in 2019 – 2025. The document reflects current condition of national system of information and communication technologies, goals and objectives of the Concept, ways and methods of its implementation and expected outcomes. It is planned to implement the Concept, which is aimed at the growth of business and investment activity, introduction of advanced methods of Government administration, creation of new working places, in three phases (the first one in 2019, the second in 2020 – 2023 and the third in 2024 – 2025). According to the Resolution, ministries, departments, administration of the regions and Ashagabat, all organizations and establishments regardless of the ownership are assigned to provide the implementation of the Concept.
