Let me extend my congratulations on the start of the conference “Turkmen Diplomacy: Serving to Solve International Issues” and on the Day of Diplomatic Personnel of Turkmenistan, - the message of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov addressed to the participants of the forum says. The agenda of representative meeting is dedicated to priority directions of foreign policy and diplomacy of Turkmenistan and to objectives for solution of current international issues. Being one of powerful and dynamically developing states of the world, neutral Turkmenistan makes deserving input to the provision of stability and security in the region. Huge potential of our economy, reforms in education, science, health protection and other spheres provide the attractiveness of our country for foreign investments. Having efficiently involved this potential, our country steadily moves forward. This is our successful implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals on national level, which is logical outcomes of the care of human that is guaranteed at high Government level, - the message notes. Turkmenistan forms up high technology system of information communication and electronic management as well as has started the implementation of the Concept of development of digital economy. Department of Foreign Economic Affairs, which develops specific proposals on search for efficient ways of development of bilateral trade and economic relations, has been founded in the structure of the Foreign Ministry. Priority goals in political, social, economic and cultural fields have outlined in the context of the country development this year, which is held under slogan “Turkmenistan – Home of Prosperity”. Large-scale plans of rapid development in scientific, education, health protection and social spheres are also implemented. Measures for strengthening of constructive role of Turkmenistan in the system of foreign relations have been developed and are taken for political and diplomatic provision of these objectives. Making positive effect of improvement of productive relations in Central Asia, Near and Middle East, foreign strategy of Turkmenistan receives growing and fundamental significance in provision of peace and security in the region. At the same time, we pays special attention to joint efforts in the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals, - the message says. Turkmenistan is committed to close and strategic collaboration with the United Nations Organization in the context of development of international political, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian relations. Standing on these positions, we take integrated measures for the implementation of the initiatives proposed at the sessions of the UN General Assembly and other important international forums. In the context of priorities of foreign strategy of Turkmenistan, it is necessary to make special mention that the role of energy, transport and water diplomacy grows significantly in modern conditions. Taking into account current situation in the world and regional development and following the objectives provided by the Concept of foreign course of neutral Turkmenistan in 2017 – 2023, Turkmen diplomatic service takes integrated measures enhancing scientific and practical approaches and methods of work. I am confident that establishment of the Training Centre on priority directions of Turkmen diplomacy under the Institute of International Relations of the Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan will support high level of training of highly qualified specialists in the sphere of international relations. It will open wide opportunities for improvement of scientific, research and analytical activity in the sphere of international relations and diplomacy, - the message of the President highlights.
