President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held a meeting with President of the Republic of Tatarstan of the Russian Federation Rustam Minnikhanov, as well as General Director of JSC KAMAZ Sergey Kogogin, CEO of JSC TATNEFT Nail Maganov and General Director of IED-HOLDING Khamis Makhyanov, who arrived in Ashgabat to participate in the festivities on occasion of the Turkmen Horse Day. Cordially greeting the President of Turkmenistan, President Rustam Minnikhanov conveyed the greetings from the President of the Russian Federation to the Turkmen leader. According to the guests, it was a great honor for them to take part in the festivities and once again to admire the beauty, grace and agility of magnificent Ahalteke horses. Thanking for the kind words, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov expressed satisfaction with the fruitful nature of the Turkmen-Tatarstan dialogue that was based on the traditions of friendship, cultural and spiritual community of the two peoples, and successfully developed in the framework of cooperation with the Russian Federation. During the meeting, held in atmosphere of confidence and respect, the parties exchanged their views on the priorities of cooperation. As was emphasized, Turkmenistan and the Republic of Tatarstan successfully collaborated in various fields. In this aspect, it was emphasized the long-term partnership between our country and the leading enterprises and companies of Tatarstan, in particular the automotive giant KamAZ, JSC Tatneft, JSC Kazan Helicopter among others. The exchange of views on the aspects of diversification of cooperation took place during the meeting. The meeting participants focused on the wide prospects opening up in such spheres as the digitization of economy, increase of production volumes of import-substituting and export-oriented products, creation of high-tech industries. The partnership in the fields of mechanical engineering and energy, the oil refining and gas chemical industries seems promising. The guests confirmed their interest in expanding business ties and the willingness to use the potential of special economic zones created in Tatarstan, industrial and technology parks, engineering and research centers, achievements in the field of IT and nanotechnology. Transport, fuel and energy complex, trade and economic sphere, agriculture, as well as the interaction of business structures were specified among the priority areas of cooperation. Collaboration in the cultural, scientific and educational fields, in the field of sports and tourism seem perspective. Confirming the readiness of the parties to build up multi-faceted cooperation, the President of Turkmenistan and the President of the Republic of Tatarstan of the Russian Federation emphasized the significant role of the Joint Turkmen-Tatarstan working group on trade, economic, scientific, technical and cultural cooperation. It was noted that the constructive partnership between our country and the largest regions of the Russian Federation met the interests of the Turkmen-Russian dialogue. Upon completion of the meeting, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and President of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov exchanged the best wishes.
