President of Turkmenistan suggests organizing celebrations on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War in CIS on May 9, 2020

“The agenda of the meeting includes the Address of the CIS Heads of State to the peoples of the Commonwealth and the world community on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the Victory of the Soviet people in the 1941-1945Great Patriotic War”, said the President of Turkmenistan, speaking at the Summit of CIS Heads of State, emphasizing that this date is sacred to all of us. “In our states, much is being done to preserve and strengthen the historical memory of soldiers and officers, who won the Great Victory, of those people, who made an invaluable contribution to its achievement. Speaking about this, the President of Turkmenistan proposed to hold solemn ceremony of laying flowers to the Victory memorials and to organize fireworks dedicated to the anniversary in all CIS countries on May 9, 2020.
