Today, on the day when the country widely celebrates Harvest Festival, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has held video conference session where outcomes of some works in agricultural complex have been summed up. Children from each region of the country have also taken part in the ceremonial event. Heads of Ahal, Balkan, Lebap, Mary and Dashoguz Regions have reported to the Head of the State about successful completion of contractual obligations for production of raw cotton by the farmers. On behalf of farmers, the heads of the regions have cordially congratulated the Leader of the Nation on great labour victory of farmers. This year, which is held in Turkmenistan under slogan “Turkmenistan – Home of Neutrality”, the farmers have produced more than 1,250,000 tons of cotton responding to the care taken of them. Young representatives of each region, who participated in the session, have cordially congratulated Leader of the Nation Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on great labour victory achieved by the cotton producers. They have dedicated their inspiring poems, which glorify grandiose achievements of the Motherland, to this event. On behalf of the President of Turkmenistan, the heads of the regions have presented gifts to the children. Further, addressing the participants of the event, the Head of the State has cordially congratulated agricultural personnel and people of independent neutral Turkmenistan on the Harvest Festival and wished them strong health, family wealth, prosperous life and new big success continuing farming traditions of the ancestors for further prosperity of the Motherland. President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has finished his speech with words: “Let abundance of generous Turkmen land never run out”.
