The representatives of the Ministry of Culture together with the representatives of the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism of Spain and the World Tourism Organization discussed the issues of participation in the International Conference to revive international Travel & Tourism. The meeting participants emphasized the exceptional importance of the upcoming forum, designed to draw the attention of the international community to the need to develop world tourism in the post-pandemic period, taking into account its huge role in strengthening national economies and developing ties between peoples of different countries. Due to the “open doors” policy and broad international cooperation, successfully implemented by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, as well as the rich historical and cultural heritage of our people and the unique nature of our native land, the national tourism sector has developed rapidly in recent years. The adoption of legal acts, regulating issues in the field of tourism in our country, the construction of fashionable hotel complexes in the Avaza National tourism zone, the white marble capital Ashgabat and velayats, has become a powerful factor in strengthening our country's position in the world tourism market. Development of modern market relations, introduction of a digital system and effective organizational solutions, attraction of investments, as well as the expansion of long-term partnerships in this area open up broad prospects for the development of tourism. Underlining the enormous social, cultural and economic importance of tourism, the parties expressed interest in continuing joint work to promote, recover and further intensively develop this highly profitable area upon completion of the coronavirus pandemic and opening of interstate borders.
