President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held video conference working session dedicated to the development of fuel and energy complex of the country. Some Deputy Chairmen of the Cabinet of Ministers and high-rank official of fuel and energy complex took part in the session. Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers G. Mushikov has reported on the contracts (agreements), which were signed according to the instructions of the President of Turkmenistan by the ministries and profile departments with foreign companies for procurement of goods, fulfilment of works and services. Further the State Minister, Chairman of the State Concern Türkmengaz B. Amanov has reported on the activity of his organization, practical measures for increment of production, processing and export of Turkmen natural gas to the world market. Further, Chairman of the State Concern Türkmennebit G. Baygeldiyev has reported on the situation in the structures under his supervision, work for increment of oil production as well as on fulfilment of instructions given by the Leader of the Nation. The report on survey and exploration works, which are carried out by the State Concern on Caspian coast and offshore, measures for attraction of investors of new projects in Turkmen section of the Caspian Sea has been presented. After, Chairman of the State Corporation Türkmengeologiýa M. Roziyev has reported on the measures for implementation of the latest scientific achievements, field geophysical surveys and overhaul survey and exploration drilling works. The working session was continued with the report of General Director of Turkmenbashy Refinery Complex D. Chishiyev. The Head of Turkmenbashy Refinery Complex has reported to the Head of the State about works for efficient processing of hydrocarbon materials, increment of production of petroleum products and expansion of their variety. Further, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers M. Meredov, who is in charge of fuel and energy complex, has reported on fulfilment of the assignments of the Head of the State on development of oil and gas complex, introduction of the latest scientific achievements and international practice to fuel and energy complex, attraction of foreign investment, increment of production volumes of oil and gas, production of petrochemical commodities. Having listened to the reports, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov focused on the importance of further modernization of national fuel and energy complex, its development of multidimensional base and bringing of it into compliance with time requirements. In this regard, the top officials of fuel and energy complex and the Vice-premier have received specific instructions for attraction of foreign investments, application of advanced world practice and modern technologies. Further, addressing to the participants of the working session, the President of Turkmenistan has specified number of important objectives for fulfilment of the government programs of development of oil and gas complex and improvement of production indicators. The leader of the Nation has requested to increase production volumes of crude oil by implementation of modern technologies and methods, enhance efficiency of oil production and drilling works as well to achieve uninterruptable supply of oil to Turkmenbashy Refinery Complex. Having highlighted that strict control of the dynamics of the expenditure structure, introduction and improvement of methodology for reduction of production cost is an urgent time requirement, the President of the country addressed relative officials with number of certain assignments. The Head of the State has requested Chairman of the Central Bank M. Annadurdiyev to conduct technical inventory of fuel and energy facilities. This measure is aimed at further improvement of the system of supply of equipment and facility base of the complex, the Leader of the Nation noted. Prosecutor General B. Atdayev has been instructed to analyze financial and economic indicators of the structures of fuel and energy complex. Finishing working session dedicated to the situation in fuel and energy complex, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov wished strong health and success in solution of set objectives to all participants.
