The delegation of the Ministry of Finances and Economy has taken part in the first session of the heads of the Funds of national development of the state members of the Economic Cooperation Organization, which was held in online format. The agenda of the meeting included the subjects of further expansion of constructive cooperation including those that are related to the opportunity of establishment of the Funds of national prosperity and development for support of technical cooperation, informational exchange, support of favorable investment environment and enforcement of economic growth on the ECO region. Turkmenistan pays special attention to the partnership with the ECO states in priority economic issues. Sustainable development of the countries of the region, activation of integration processes require search for new optimum forms and mechanisms of cooperation. In general, it provides the necessity of more detailed elaboration of perspectives of establishment of the network of the Funds of national prosperity and development and further use of the Funds’ resources taking into account modern realities, national and common interests. The outcomes of online session, during which other actual subjects of regional cooperation have been reviewed, were reflected in relative document.
